The Iraqi Commission Team for Elections Monitoring

 

     The Iraqi Commission for Civil Society Enterprises activated the elections and transparency monitoring team. The team has a certified registration from the Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq. The independent Iraqi civil society organizations contributed in activate its national role in monitoring the transparency of the national Iraqi elections and monitoring the irregularities which may happen and work on highlighting its great role of the success of this national political process and showing the importance of the community awareness of people's rights for this national election and to ensure the participation of Iraqi people in the political process by a free and fair elections.

      The chairman of the Iraqi Commission declare creating a Supreme Iraqi Commission Body for monitoring the transparency of the elections which contains (10) main offices for the teams in Baghdad and other Iraqi provinces, and, (3) international offices in Belgium, Syria and Iran. The chairman of the Iraqi commission and the team supervisor Dr. Basil added that the campaign of the community awareness and monitoring the transparency of the next elections is continuous through out providing thousands of ID cards for the members of the organizations of the Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq and assigned the participations, of the Iraqi Commission team for monitoring the transparency of elections, their duties. The Iraqi Commission team distributed more than (50000) posters in Baghdad and other provinces to invite Iraqi people to participate in this elections to elect in honestly, democratic and freely way their representatives of the next Iraqi National Parliament. The chairman of the transparency monitoring team Dr. Basil added that these activities are voluntarily, within the goals and the duties of the Iraqi civil organizations and its role in participating in the independent democratic political process and the Iraqi Commission is an independent organization and it does not belong to any political side and its main goal is building a civilized democratic Iraqi society of the new Iraq. The chairman of the Iraqi Commission, the supervisor of the Iraqi Commission team, convinced all of the independent of elections monitors, about the importance of the commitment of strict neutrality and to make all the efforts to ensure the success of the next Iraqi national elections and he confirmed that the main operation room center of the Iraqi Commission team in Baghdad will receive the monitoring reports and the team will monitor the breakthroughs that may happen in the political process within the rules that adopted by the political process.
